Before we discuss the BClick network, consider a traditional online media buy. An advertiser wants to do some banner advertising for their newly launched website. The advertiser tries to find a content site that matches their needs and can deliver enough 'impressions' to make the buy worthwhile. The advertiser negotiates a rate for the number of views their ad will get. (CPM rate) The content site will take the advertisers' banner and display it on their site the specified number of times. Sometimes a visitor will click on it, sometimes not.

What bothers BClick about this system is the lack of information that both the advertiser and content provider have. The content provider has no way of knowing if they are charging enough for their impressions, and the advertiser has no idea if anyone will click on their banner. This leads to a lot of headaches - and wasted money - for both sites.

BClick was created to deal with this problem. BClick network works on results, not on impressions. When a user clicks on a banner, the 'host site' (the one hosting the banner) gets paid a set amount between $.12 and $.17. Meanwhile, the advertiser pays a fixed amount for that same click. This system is highly efficient, predictable, and quite simply better than the CPM system. BClick is in the business of generating results; they don't want BClick hosts or advertisers to lose out.

BClick provides you with an additional opportunity to earn revenue for any new site that joins the network based on your referral. You are initially paid $5.00 for every host you refer. In addition, you are paid $.01 for every click a referred host generates, for as long as you and the host are active.
