Agreement to Revolutionize Marketing To Over 500 College Campuses Nationwide

BOSTON and BALTIMORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 21, 2000-- In continuing its ongoing efforts to reach the lucrative college market, The Magma Group (www.magmagroup.com), a premier grassroots and permission-based college marketing firm, today announced a landmark agreement with Advertising.com, an infrastructure development company for precision Internet direct marketing. With the partnership, The Magma Group will utilize Advertising.com's AdBroadcast(SM) wireless advertising service to assist advertisers in targeting individualized messages to college and university students nationwide.

Under the terms of the agreement, The Magma Group will utilize its powerful Team Magma (www.teammagma.com) network of over 6,000 student organizations, to provide new users to Advertising.com's AdBroadcast(SM). AdBroadcast(SM) is the only marketing service available today that offers consumers payment for receiving targeted marketing messages on their wireless devices.

The partnership will seek to capitalize on the wireless revolution that is quickly infiltrating America's college campuses. As a result, wireless devices are making for an effective and sizeable marketing channel to reach America's students.

Enrollment for AdBroadcast is free and upon registering for the service, advertisements will be delivered directly to a user's wireless phone or text messaging based pager. Team Magma student groups will be compensated for acquiring new subscribers to the AdBroadcast system. Students who subscribe to the service will be compensated between 5 and 50 cents for each message they receive on their wireless device.
