What is the minimum payment amount for a check to be cut?

The minimum payment is $25.00.

What if the minimum payment is not reached by the end of the month?

If the minimum payment is not reached by the end of the month the balance simply carries over into the next month. A check will be issued on the 15th of the month following the month the minimum is reached.

I cannot seem to immediately log in and get my data?

Stats are updated daily at 8:30 AM EST. All new network sites will have access the day following admission.

When do sites get paid?

Checks are sent out on the 15th of every month, for earnings from the previous month (net 15 days).

How are sites paid?

Checks are sent by mail. The amount of the check will be for the previous month’s earnings (from the first day of the month to the last).

Can payments be wired?

Advertising.com does not wire money to publishers at this time.

Are separate accounts required for the AdNetwork and EMAS?

Yes.

What is CPC and CPM?

CPC means cost per click. CPM means cost per thousand impressions (M is the roman numeral for thousand). An impression is the actual viewing of a page on which a banner or window appears.

Are sites paid for CPM?

Sites are paid for CPM banners, but the majority of Advertising.com's banner network consists of cost per click (CPC) banners.

Are there any special deals for hosting just CPM ads?

There are no special deals for CPM banners.

Can the referral stats be accessed?

Due to the size of our network and the resulting log files, it is no longer feasible to display these stats. However, Advertising.com is using the same accurate click tracking system for the referral stats as the regular click stats. Referral monies are included in your check, and are listed separately on your check stub for easy reference.

How can the stats be read?

Your online statistics can be accessed at http://www.advertising.com. Click on the button labeled login and enter your loginID and password.

Can the stats be viewed in graph form?

es, use the same methodology as viewing stats in a table format, EXCEPT you must change the "Table Width" column to narrow and select graphical display, then click "go".

Is there coding available that enables banners on multiple pages?

Advertising.com has a javascript which publishers can use for this purpose. It is located at http://www.advertising.com/newstuff. This code can only be used if you are serving one banner per page.

What type of websites are accepted into the network?

Advertising.com accepts all English and Spanish sites providing they do not display adult content, hacking/"phreaking"," emulator downloads, illegal mp3 downloads or controversial content

Do you accept sites in languages other than English?

Yes, we accept Spanish-language sites.

Up to 8 Advertising.com banners total on a page (full-sized and odd-sized combined). The banners must be numbered appropriately.

Does Advertising.com require exclusivity?

No, exclusivity is not required. We guarantee to sell up to 100% of your inventory.

What is a US tax ID Number?

If you are a US citizen, your tax ID number is your Social Security Number. This is required information because we do not withhold federal taxes from payments.

I am not a US citizen, and therefore I do not have a US id number. What should I put in the blank?

Please enter NA on the sign up form may enter NA on the signup form. If you are accepted into our network, we will require you to provide us with additional information.

What is the payout schedule for NetEzines?

Payments are quarterly (once every 3 months).

How are banners targeted?

A cookie (text file) is placed on the computer of a web surfer viewing an Advertising.com AdNetwork site. With information on the content category of the website, information is processed to the server which in turn sends the right ad to the right person. Advertising.com uses real-time optimization to ensure high click through rates and maximize revenue to you.

Do you accept third party serving?

How do I take advantage of Daughter Window (Interstitials) as an existing AdNetwork member?

No, we do not give out the coding for SSI due to security issues.

What does the banner number mean?

The banner number in the coding differentiates clicks among the various advertisers.

What text can I have near the banner?

The only acceptable text below the banner or in the alt-text field includes: ""The Advertising.com AdNetwork" or "Please Click Here to Visit our Sponsor" or "Click Here to Visit our Sponsor."

If I host other sites, can I put the Advertising.com code on them?

No. The html code that you have is intended for one domain only. Please set up a separate account for each domain that you host at www.advertising.com
