A few years ago, they were all jumping on the net bandwagon, thinking that they could make NetBanner fortunes. They worked hard and created sites with great content and information waiting for the big guy to sponsor them. Well the truth is, that is rarely the case. You read about the high cpms being charged by some sites and wondering who is paying these big bucks. No one really. In fact sites never sell on their rate card, because of one big problem – there is so much excess ad space.

They are here to solve that problem for you. They do not promise riches, but NetBanner does offer good click through program. They will get the advertisers, they will do the tracking and reporting, the customer service, Invoicing and the like. All you do is carry some html tags, and promote your site.

They pay for all the advertising they show. They make sure they get the right advertisers for your audience and the right creative for them to click on. After all the better you do, the better NetBanner does. They provide you with weekly online statistic reports. You can see how many impressions you served, your clicks, and your click through rate.

Now for the interesting part – how much do they give out? They realize the value that you place on your real estate and therefore they offer four types of banners 468x60, and when available120x90, 120x60 and 88x31.

Because their program is based on direct marketing, they pay the same for all banners displayed and clicked through and they use the following pay structure:

Checks are paid monthly. If you earned revenue in January, we will mail you a check by the 25th of the following month. A minimum of $30 is required for a check to be sent. Otherwise we will roll over the check to the next month or until $30 has been earned.

Does this cost me anything?

There are no costs involved in becoming a Net Banner host site.

Can I have other ad graphics on the page?

Yes you can. We don’t ask for exclusivity.

Can I choose which graphics to show on my site?

No you cannot. However we place advertisers that are relevant to your site's content. Net Banner is a direct marketing tool, so we make sure that advertisers do not abuse us for branding purposes. Therefore we have final say on the creative. We do not accept all advertisers - only those that we know will work well in our system.

What happens if I do not want the advertiser that is served to my site?

Only if the objection is a legitimate one, will we reassign an advertiser, if possible. Contact us if that is the case We do not place any graphic linking to sites that are adult or illegal in nature.

How good is the tracking?

We use a proprietary technology developed over two years. Our software records all impressions and clicks and is setup to audit trends and detect fraud.

How good is the targeting?

The more money you make, the more money we make. We place advertisers in areas where we know they will achieve the best click through rates. We also control the frequency of the ad shown using cookies.
