An Associate is a Web Site
with whom we (One and Only ) have an
established relationship. We create unique online content
sites (called the Associate Site) for the you, personalized with
your name, logo, and choice of styles. You link to the Associate
Site in order to provide content, variety and entertainment for
your visitors and to earn referral fees from visitors who become
AYCE (All You Can E-mail) club members.
The Associate Site we
create for you has over 100 html and CGI generated pages not
including individual ad pages (which can run into the tens of
thousands). We maintain and upgrade these pages as well as process
forms, process secure credit card and check orders, bill the
customer, handle customer service and e-mail, provide voice
support, and screen ads for content.
We also maintain billing
and traffic statistics. These are compiled daily and reported to
you daily by e-mail.
This creates a win-win
situation for you and your visitors. You gain by increased
traffic, more content, and referral fees. Your visitors gain from
more entertainment from his or her favorite site, and the chance
to meet someone special along the way.
You must have a Web Site to
qualify for the Associates Program. Most Web sites will qualify to
participate in the program, and we even welcome applications from
sites still under development. Web sites that do not
qualify include:
Sites that promote
sexually explicit material with minors.
Sites that promote
violence.
Sites that promote
discrimination based on race, sex, religion, national origin,
physical disability, sexual orientation or age.
Applying to and
participating in the Associate Program is absolutely free.
There is no charge to apply, no minimum traffic or membership
requirement, and no fees of any kind to participate.
We create a unique URL for
you to link to from your Web Site. The site will be maintained
using our server and database. This is necessary for security,
maintenance and quality control concerns. Although the site is
located on our server, your Web Site name, logo and other features
you specify will be displayed along with links back to your URL.
Once you complete the
Associate Registration Form, you will be given a unique URL for
your new Associate site and it's pages. You may then establish
hyperlinks from your Web site to any of the pages in your new
site.
We recommend establishing
at least one hyperlink to your Associate Site Home Page. We also
think that it is helpful to create an "index" page which explains
your new service (in association with One and
Only ). Your visitors can return to your Web Site
from your Associate Site by clicking on your logo which will be
displayed at the top of every page.
Currently, there are
over 80,000 personals ads available. All Associates share the same
database of ads, so that as the number of ads increases, every
Associate will share inthe growth.
Of course, you can
limit the types and therefore the number of ads that appear on
your Associate Site. Use caution. Severely restricting the types
of ads may limit the number of people who visit your
Site.
The answer is yes. You can
use your own name and logo, and write your own opening text that
appears on the Associate Site home page. You cannot edit the
layout or text on individual pages within the Site.
